Governor suspension of rulemaking a good first step
Today Governor Gregoire issued Executive Order 10-06, which suspends development and adoption of agency rules for the next 12 months. This is a good first step towards alleviating one of the major areas of concern for small businesses as they struggle to survive this economic recession: regulatory overreach. Regulatory reform has been, by-and-large, a little-discussed area of concern for the small business community.
